Welcome to Our Church

Whether you are just visiting Kampala or are looking for a new Church home, WELCOME!

We are a non-denominational community where you can truly come as you are, worship freely, share something from the Bible, find a community of faith and encounter the love of Jesus Christ!  Oh, and kids will probably love worshipping here too.

Kampala International Church(KIC) has three congregations, each with its own flavor but with a shared purpose as an “all-nations group of believers who seek to experience and share the Kingdom of God in today’s Kampala”.

The congregations are up and running in person again.  KIC-Heritage meets at the Makindye Country Club in Makindye.  KIC-Bugolobi meets at Ambrosoli International School in Bugolobi.  And KIC-Lubowa meets at the Africa Institute of Music in Lubowa.

Services start at 10 a.m.   We look forward to seeing you!!

About KIC – Our History & Foundation

Kampala International Church or “KIC” is an “all-nations group of believers who seek to experience and share the Kingdom of God in todays’ Kampala”.   The church started in 1998 as a house fellowship (Makindye Family Fellowship). In December 2001 the Fellowship moved to Heritage International School and subsequently became Kampala International Church.

In 2010 a second congregation was planted in Bugolobi, followed in 2012 by a third congregation in Lubowa.

A Word from Our Leaders:

We believe in plurality of leadership and each congregation has a Leadership team.  Ian Wardle serves as the Team Leader at KIC-H along with Collin Muwonge, the Youth Leader.  At KIC Bugolobi, the leadership team is chaired by Rudi Conley and the congregation is currently searching for a new pastor.

We welcome you to come and visit or to come and make KIC your church home.
